With Mercury, you are always guaranteed high-quality products, and when you buy a new Mercury outboard motor, you have the option of a 5-year warranty, which ensures that your engine is always ready for new experiences on the water.
Peace of mind with the 5-year warranty programme
It is now possible to get a 5-year warranty on Mercury 4-stroke and Verado outboard motors*. The warranty covers the same things as the normal 2-year warranty. To qualify for the 5-year warranty programme, you must make sure that your outboard motor adheres to fixed service intervals of 100 hours / 12 months (minor service) or 300 hours / 36 months (major service), respectively.*The 5-year warranty does not apply to products sold for commercial use, rental, etc., or to racing products
Warranty for everyone
Like all other goods, a new boat and boat engine are, as a minimum, covered by the provisions of the Danish Sale of Goods Act on a two-year right of complaint. But it is now possible to get a 5-year warranty on Mercury and Mariner 4-stroke, Optimax and Verado outboard motors. Several of the boat brands on Bådliv.dk are also covered by an extended right of complaint, which applies to delamination of the hull. In other words, if a safety or structural defect turns out to be present in the hull, it is covered by the right of complaint.
